PURPOSE

(1) LIFE IS TO SHORT & THE TIME IS NOW!  My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like the grass. Ps. 102:11 NIV
As you read you will notice that time is pressing forward and will not be reversed for any one. If you are a Christian, when you came to know Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, why didn't God take you to your eternal home immediately?  Could it be that He has a job (ministry) specifically designed for you?  That ministry is clearly outlined in the Great Commission, (Matthew 28:19-20)!  The Bible says: "God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others Gods many kinds of blessings."1 Pet. 4:10 LB
Many of us go through life wondering and praying what is it that God wants us to do?  I believe this is one way that may help you to discover that for which you were made.  Worship Him wholeheartedly and put to practice what you already know. God does not want you wondering around in the dark. What occupies your thought life continually?  What builds your enthusiasm?  What generates life deep down in your soul?  What are you seeking to do every chance you get?  What do you talk about all the time?  What are the deepest desires of your heart that you want to talk about whenever possible and that seem to generate the interest of others through your passion?  To what do you find yourself gravitating at every spare moment?  If all these passions and desires are in accordance with Gods Word and are being confirmed in your life through daily prayer, this could be a strong clue as to what God is calling you to do!  This is a picture of how God works in the lives of His children!  Don't make it difficult remember He loves you and wants the best for you-His child!
Paul tells us in Galatians 6:4 (Msg), Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that.  Don't be impressed with yourself.  Don't compare yourself with others.  By comparing your calling or ministry with another, you provide a way for Satan to steal the joy of your calling.  God doesn't care if you are nine or ninety years old!  He calls the young and develops their gifts and talents.  He helps the more mature to discover wasted talent.  He downloads abilities that match your newly discovered gifts just like the newest and fastest computers.  Remember, He is God!  He calls Himself the great I AM!  (Exodus 3:14; John 8:58)
He was God in eternity past; He is God in the present. He will be God for all eternity!  Example: I have the capability to write out music that you may hear on your favorite Christian radio station so it is user friendly.  I believe this is something I can do so that others might come to this site and find music they are looking for and lead people like you and I to a closer, deeper more meaningful relationship with Him (Jesus Christ) who changed my life, hopefully yours and multitudes after us.  What talent our gift do you have that could be beneficial for His service?  Please do not say I have nothing God can use, God gave you gifts and talents, as mentioned above. My prayer is that this might motivate you to do something in His name and keep on as God leads.  Do not waste another minute of this God-given life with which you have been entrusted.  Start serving Him as He leads you!
Whatever you are is Gods gift to you; whatever you do with yourself is your gift to God. A Danish Proverb.
